Description
A lot of 3 early Greek terracotta footed, sprinkler vessels, c. 7th-6th Century BC, all similar in form and composition. At the base of all three vessels' necks is a sprinkler device to keep the flow of the contents low. An interesting group. Hs: 4 1/8 in (10.5cm), 4 ¼ in (10.8cm), and 4 2/3 in (11.8cm). Ex Desmond Morris Collection. Mr. Morris was an English zoologist and author, perhaps best known for his works 'The Naked Ape' and 'The Human Zoo'.
