Description
A Roman pale yellow glass bottle, c. 2nd - 3rd Century AD, the body square with raised molded relief alternating with palm fronds on either side and a grid pattern containing squares, the base is indented and the narrow neck flares widely at the mouth with inward folded rim, two applied handles attaching from the shoulder to the rim. H: 4 3/8 in (11.2 cm). Ex South London private collection.
