A COLLECTION OF FIVE ROYAL COPENHAGEN POLYCHROME PAINTED PORCELAIN WATERFOWL, GREEN AND BLUE MAKER'S MARKS, 20TH CENTURY, each painted in white and pastel color palette of pale dusty blues, grays, browns, and green, with green underglaze crown Royal Copenhagen hallmark underfoot, the collection comprising "Drake," no. 1933, circa 1980-1984, originally designed by Peter Herold (Danish 1879-1920), a sitting male duck with gray head, white breast, and light blue feathered back highlighted by white and green with "PH" embossed monogram on base under tail reversing to an underside stamped "1933" opposite green maker's mark over blue triple wave beside painter's uppercase "BU" initials above green "1933," height: 2 1/2", length: 6"; "Duck," no. 1192, circa 1975-1979, originally designed by Olaf Mathiesen (Danish 1876-1953), a striding white American Pekin on a green naturalistic base with "M" embossed monogram under tail reversing to an underside stamped "1192" below "BN" opposite maker's mark over blue triple wave beside painter's uppercase "CU" initials above green "1192," height: 3 3/4"; "Tufted Duck," no. 1941, originally designed by Peter Herold, a standing gray and blue feathered duck with bill pressed against breast reversing to an underside stamped "E" above maker's mark over blue triple wave beside painter's illegible initials above green "1941," height: 4 1/2"; "Geese," no. 609, in the form of a white and a gray goose, one appearing to have freed itself from a rope tied to its leg reversing to an underside with maker's mark over blue triple wave beside "X/X" above green "609," height: 5 3/4", length: 7"; "Geese," no. 2068, originally designed by Peter Herold, featuring a pair of gray and white striding geese with "Herold/1918" embossed under their tails on a circular cream floral base reversing to an underside stamped "2068" under maker's mark and blue triple wave beside "X/X' above green "2068," height: 8 1/2". Condition
All five fine porcelain Royal Copenhagen pieces in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs. All clearly and correctly marked.
