Royal Vienna Hand Painted Plate. 9.5 in. dia. porcelain plate with painted, gilt and enamel decorated border, scalloped edge; hand painted center scene titled “Bruckenzoll” (Bridge Duty), depicts a figure of Cupid standing at one end of a bridge stopping 3 women from crossing over a stream with a beautiful scenic landscape behind. Signed with beehive mark on the reverse, artist signed “Tschiesche”. In very nice condition with no breaks, no scratches or losses to the enamel. Weight: 1 lbs.
