Never used, the plastic remains on the grip. Medium toned cane, red wraps tipped black, full metal sliding band reel seat. One to keep as a nearly perfect example of Wright &McGill Granger rods. It would be a shame to remove the plastic, which is marked "Wright / and / Mc Gill / Granger / Trade Mark / Rod" in spiral script. A single, small chip at the base of the "M" in McGill is the only flaw. The reel seat is stamped "Made By / Wright & McGill Rod Co./Denver, Co" in 3 lines. It will be a long time before another example surfaces in this condition. Original bag and black fiber tube with label intact. No cap, although this is easily replaced.
