Native American, Southwest New Mexico, Mogollon, ca. 1000 to 1200 CE. A handbuilt, round-bottomed terracotta bowl created via the coil-and-scrape method, adorned on the interior in the snowflake style with black striations and one central register featuring a stepped pattern. Size: 5.75" W x 2.75" H (14.6 cm x 7 cm).
Provenance: Ex-private Carlsbad, CA Collection, acquired before 1990.
