French Louis Philippe Carved Walnut Marble Top Nightstand, 19th c., the canted corner highly figured rectangular black marble over a frieze drawer above a cupboard door flanked by chamfered stiles, on a plinth base, H.- 28 1/2 in., W.- 15 1/2 in., D.- 13 in.

Condition consistent with age and use. A cluster of cracks, measuring approximately 5 inches, is noted on the bottom interior of the drawer. An approximate 1 inch crack is noted in the base. A crack, measuring about 7 inches, is seen on the left side near the front corner. Another crack of approximately 2 inches is seen nearby. Scattered exposure to wood worm is noted throughout. The door handle is loose but attached (some rust is noted on the metal hardware on the interior). A two inch area of discoloration and possible wood fill is seen in the middle of the right corner. A 2 inch shallow gouge is observed in the front of the drawer. A nice piece. ALL PROPERTY IS SOLD "AS IS."
