French Louis Philippe Carved Walnut Marble Top Nightstand, 19th c., the rectangular highly figured black marble over a cavetto carved frieze drawer above a cupboard door, to a plinth base on block feet, H.- 29 3/4 in., W.- 14 3/4 in., D.- 13 in.

Condition consistent with age and use. An approximate ½ inch gouge is seen on the bottom of the drawer. Exposure to woodworm is noted along the top edge, left side and bottom left corner. Two pea-size chips are observed in the front left edge of the marble. Scattered flea-size chips are observed throughout. A very narrow loss is noted on the back left edge. A nice piece.
