A late Victorian 9ct gold chick, egg and wishbone brooch. The textured chick, with red gem eye and white enamel egg, within a wishbone surround. Hallmarks for Chester, 1889. Length 3.8cms. Weight 3.7gms.

Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.

Scratches and areas of discolouration to the brooch in places.

Significant chips to the white enamel egg and some areas of discolouration.

Glue visible to secure the red gem eye.
