EARLY 19TH C. PENNSYLVANIA FRAKTUR
Watercolor and ink, brightly painted Taufscheine with reds, greens and yellow, large tulips flanking a rectangle bordered with green, red and yellow inverted triangles, "Sarah Raab born 29 December 1814, to Johanes and Catarina Raab in Libanon County...", small repair upper left, fold lines, overall light toning, professionally framed and matted, note on back reads "The almost exact copy of this fractur is in the Rhode Island School of Design booklet, Jan. 1972, p. 3, 12 1/4" x 15 3/4" (sight), found in the Templeton estate in Woods Hole, MA formed primarily in Pennsylvania, (ex. Dr. Oscar and Lois Hollander collection, Falmouth, MA).
