A nice Syro-Hittite votive chariot, c. 1500 – 1000 BC, hand-modeled with nice form and the back of the piece decorated with crossing lines in dark brown slip, the original wheels preserved and re-mounted. 2 7/8 in x 2 ¾ in (9.8 x 9.5 cm). A good example with light mineral deposits throughout. Ex Pennsylvania private collection.
