BLOWN-MOLDED AND PRESSED WHALE OIL MINIATURE / SPARKING STAND LAMP, colorless, compressed globular beehive font applied to a base with plain stem and 42 prisms to underside of foot, pewter collar. Fitted with a pewter and tin double-tube burner. Third quarter 19th century. 4 1/2" H to top of collar, 3 1/8" D foot.

Provenance: The collection of Frank and Karen McWright of Bethel, CT.
