Bio: Betsy Cain was born in 1949 in Tuscaloosa, and grew up in Fairfield, Alabama. She recieved both her Bachelor’s and Master’s of Fine Arts from The University of Alabama. She also did formative undergraduate work at Auburn University and the Institute Allende, in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. For the past thirty years she has lived and worked in Savannah Georgia. In 1997 she earned the Governor’s award as one of Georgia’s Women in the Visual Arts.
