Description: A signature image by Reuven Rubin, Reuven Rubin (1893-1974) was born in Romania in 1893. He immigrated to Israel in 1912 and settled in Jerusalem. A year after he traveled to Paris to study at ?cole des beaux-art. He then returned to Israel. Rubin's work sings with the joy of living in country sides drenched with sun, blossoming flowers, luscious fruits and in silver foliage of an age-old tree. Rubin identified with the biblical country of Israel, with its people and sunlit land. In his language of imagery he told us biblical parables in a magical and extraordinary way. Rubin is considered one of the most renowned and famous Israeli artists worldwide with works in collections of leading museums such as MoMA (New York), Muse? d'art Moderne (Paris), Jewish Museum (New York) and others
