Finely carved jade in shape of deep bowl, with round cavetto to wide opening with slightly fared rim, raised on concave footed base. The exterior carved in shallow relief of Eight Buddhist emblems, bordered with array of lotus flower petals on the foot. the interior left plain fine polished. Elegantly presented upon carved hardwood stand.
The nephrite jade shows grayish-celadon iridescent with clean translucent and moist milky appearance.
