AMERICAN PAINTED TIN ADVERTISING SIGN, gilt-lettered on a black-painted ground for "Ecsedy Bros. / Real Estate" within an applied molded-wood frame. Together with a small mirror in oak frame stamped with lettering for "H.L. Parks & Co. / Department Store / Concord, N. C." Two pieces total. Late 19th/early 20th century. Tin sign 12 1/8" x 18" OA. Mirror 9 3/4" SQ.

Provenance: From a North Carolina private collection.

Condition

Tin sign with wear and losses to paint-decorated elements, particularly the black ground. Minor wear to corners of frame. Mirror with minor wear to frame and losses to silvering.
