A GROUP OF VINTAGE PERFUME BOTTLE PRESENTATIONS AND ACCOUTERMENTS, CIRCA FIRST HALF 20TH CENTURY, comprising "L'Origan De Coty" glass perfume presentation, for Coty, circa 1935, the curved square flacon centered by a circular gilt embossed label naming the scent, over a small rectangular paper label with red serigraphy reading "Coty/New York/Paris/Cont. 1.60 oz.", with a frosted rectangular stopper molded as stylized moths or butterflies, reversing to a base acid etch marked "Coty," retaining remnants of original fragrance, height: 3 1/4", accompanied by the original square black vinyl case, with snap closure opening to a gold silk and velvet lined interior; as well as a pair of matching miniature flacons, each with a clear label reading "0.34 fl.oz." over a molded base marked "Coty" and gilt screw cap, both retaining remnants of original fragrance, height: 2"; a "L'Air du Temps" gilt metal lattice perfume miniature bottle presentation and funnel case, for Nina Ricci, circa 1950, the brown velvet box opening to a gold silk lined lid centering "Nina Ricci/Paris" opposite a velvet tray housing a clear glass flacon covered in gilt metal lozenge netting, under a gilt stopper of a single dove in flight, the molded base marked "Nina Ricci/1/4 fl.oz./Made In France," height: 2"; and brushed gilt metal fragrance re-fill funnel, height: 1 1/2"; accompanied by a matching gilt metal lattice and glass miniature flacon, height: 2".

All perfume bottles in good condition, with no apparent major cracks, chips, or repairs. All of the flacons in the Coty group retaining various amounts of the original fragrance. The large bottle with small portion of the front label missing. The case also in good condition, with only a few small areas of discoloration. The "L'Air du Temps" group in excellent condition. Both miniature flacons emptied of original perfume. The gilt lattice ornamentation and stopper found on the extra miniature flacon less brilliant than that decorating the matching bottle housed within the case. Brown velvet case in good condition as well. All clearly and correctly marked. Simpson Galleries strongly encourages in-person inspection of items by the bidder.
