AN ESKIMO CARVED WHALE BONE SCULPTURE, 20TH CENTURY, portraying the head and features of a frontal facing young man, his expressive face with delineated brows over large deep set almond eyes, high cheekbones, and full lips, framed by the detailed fur trim of a parka hood, leading down to unworked bone below, reversing to an illegible carved signature. Height: 9 3/4" Width: 6 3/4" Depth: 9"
