Description
Chinese, Ming Dynasty Xuande Period mark (1426-1435), likely later. A famille jaune enameled porcelain bowl raised on a ring foot, with cobalt blue underglaze dragons to interior central medallion and on tondo to exterior wall over a band of lappets, with double cobalt bands to interior rim, exterior rim, surrounding interior tondo, and above foot. Underside with six character underglaze blue mark for Xuande imperial reign within double cobalt concentric rings. Approximate diameter 10.375", height 4.125".
