Comprises 1.) Black and white silk ribbon featuring a bust-length, 1/2 profile, vignette portrait of Abraham Lincoln surmounted by a silk rosette with the printed title "Officers and Clerks of the State Departments." Bears quote "'Let us have faith that RIGHT MAKES MIGHT and in that faith unto the end dare to do our duty as we understand it.' ... APRIL 26th, 1865" [8-1/8" H x 3-1/4" W]. Ribbon bears ruffled edge and mourning borders. Frayed top and bottom edges, rosette creased and flattened, fold wear, bears a faint illegible vertical pencil inscription at center left, and very light age-toning. 2.) Black and white silk rosette mourning ribbon, featuring a salt print portrait of Abraham Lincoln contained within a small rectangular gilt brass frame [Image: 3/4" H x 1/2" W; Frame: 1-1/8" H x 7/8" W; Rosette diameter: 3" Dia]. Age-toning, areas of silk ribbon are tearing off, and few stains. 3.) Black and white silk mourning ribbon featuring an oval vignette portrait of Abraham Lincoln titled "We Mourn a Beloved Patriot and Statesman / Born Feb. 12, 1809 / Died April 15, 1865". Retains three original black silk shroud ribbons [Ribbon: 4" H x 2" W; Overall including shroud ribbons: 8 1/4" H x 2 1/2" W]. Age-toning, frayed bottom edge, creasing, and light stains.
