A Tibetan Antique Gilt Bronze Tara Holding Lotus: heavily cast in sampadasana on a lotus pedestal, the elaborately dressed figure adorned with necklaces, earrings, an ornate belt swung across the hips, and crown, the crown surmounting a serene face comprised of gently arching eyebrows, heavy-lidded and downcast eyes, a prominent nose, and full lips, the hair pulled into a top knot and decorated with a lotus-form finial, two separately cast branches of blooming lotus resting in the figure’s both arms, of 17th/18th Century; Size: H: 11-1/2"
