All ten Civil War streamers (out of all 16) are in excellent condition while the Spanish American War ("Santiago") streamer, and a couple of the W.W. I examples are only partially whole. This damage being caused by age and the dyes used during the time period in which they were This damage is found on each of the World War I and single World War II streamers, with some being in more of a state of deterioriation than the others. This collection is still highly collectable and can be properly conserved when correctly framed by a professional framer. United States Military Battle Streamer/Honors are very rare to find outside their original military formations.
