Description: Manufactured by the foremost English pottery of the Staffordshire region, Wedgwood. This pitcher is sometimes called a ‘Glug Glug' after the sound they made as the water was poured.
History: The Wedgwood pottery was establish by Josiah Wedgwood in 1759. He invented and produced the companies three most famous ceramic bodies, of which Black Basalt, invented in 1768, is one. Considered the "Father of English Potters".
