Description: Copper kettle with brass and copper handle,used for boiling water. Can hold approximately one gallon of water. A small copper pail with brass banding. Pail has a riveted copper handle.
History: Copper provides the best thermal conductivity of common metals and therefore results in even heating. Pots are formed from thick copper sheets. In some cases with unlined copper.

Condition
The copper kettle is in fair condition; it has several dents and dings but very little scratching. The tip of the spout is also slightly dented. There is some patina around the copper handles and on the inside of the top.
