History: New smithing techniques in the early 19th century led to more decorative metal works both big and small. Thinner more elaborate designs became more manageable to create.

Both compotes are in good condition. Some small chips in the paint and a heavy copper patina in the interior. Copper bases are free of dents, dings or scratches, just some light paint wear and interior rust spots.
