This lot consists of two Steiff bear editions that are dressed in outfits designed and produced by the designer Ralph Lauren. From 1991 through 2001, 19 versions of these "dressed to the nines" bears were produced as a result of this collaboration. The first bear is named Martini Bear. He is 43 cm, fully jointed, and made from blonde mohair. He wears a cutaway black tuxedo suit, white shirt, and white bow tie. He was produced in 1994 in an edition size of 500 pieces. The second bear is named Wellington Bear. He is 35 cm, fully jointed, and made from blonde mohair. He wears a tweed jacket, sweater, matching pants, and a knit cap. He was produced in an edition size of 1,070 pieces in 1994. Condition: As noted. All are in very excellent to like new condition. Size Lsrgest: 16'' L.
