Description
A very interesting pair of great cloisonne art deco vases - the combination of ginbari and standard cloisonne is in a pattern that very much resembles a peacock feather - one of the classic art deco motifs. Both are 5" tall and 2 1/2" diameter at the waist - tapering to 1 3/8" diameter at the foot. Even one is a superb piece by itself at this price- the other makes a very nice companion - even with the ding. We date them to the mid to late Meiji Period, circa 1885-1905.
