An uninterrupted run of this prototypical American illustrated weekly, covering the years of the Civil War, presenting to the American people in graphic detail the struggle, slaughter, and progress of the war, and making household names of such contributors as Winslow Homer and Matthew Brady. This set finely and uniformly bound, perhaps the nicest sets we have handled.
