Description
An odd Armspear 5 3/8" size frame with a unique marking of BISHOP on the lid. It has the standard patent information on the very top and the twist off base has the additional 1897 patent marking too. It is brass. There are some typical vertical stress cracks around the vent area. The base is from a C. T. Ham #39. Note the very pronounced rim on the bottom. The pot is tin. There is a nice stubby brass burner (correct for this frame and pot). The base is minty. It's a bit of a mis-match but there are guys looking for this type of base. Bishop was probably a special run of "one" as as special gift or presentation. The BISHOP stamping is factory done. The cage is loose. All joints and ends need some solder.
The globe is a standard Pennsylvania 5 3/8" Corning style with a cast 1" P/S Keystone logo. The globe does have a Corning Cnx logo cast on one side. The globe has seen use.
