Description

An Armspear "1925" short globe lantern with Erie stamped on the lid. It has the correct "1925" brass burner. The globe si a very unusual. It has both the Corning "Cnx" marking on one side and the reverse has a Dietz - Made in the USA casting. Unusual to see a Dietz 3" marked globe, Why the Corning marking too? Was this part of a settlement after a patent infringement? A great conversation piece, how do you value it? It's from the Dave Haakmeester collection.
