Late 19th century, all with maker's mark of Hung Chong, Canton & Shanghai, a seven-piece vanity set, each piece all-over chased and repousse-decorated in a dragon-and-cloud motif, comprising: a hand mirror (10.125'' H x 5.5'' W x .75'' D), 2 hand brushes (each, silver only: 9.75'' H x 2.625'' W x .625'' D), a clothing brush (silver only: 7.375'' W x 2'' W x .625'' D), a buffer (7.25'' H x 1.625'' W x .375'' D), a cylindrical powder box with gilt-washed interior (2.625'' H x 3.875'' Dia.) and a rectangular hinged-lid vanity box with cedar-lined interior, monogrammed to central reserve ''BB'' (2.875'' H x 6.375'' W x 3.5'' D), 7 pieces, gross weight: 65.055 oz troy approximately, est: $2000/3000

Condition
Overall good condition, with general scratches, nicks, dings and tarnishing commensurate with age. One brush and buffer each lacking insert. Hand mirror with losses to silvering around outer edge of mirror plate. Rectangular box with a dented corner and an approximately .25''-long ding to front edge of cover. Weight includes non-silver elements. One box monogrammed, as stated.
