Mary Nimmo Moran (American, 1843-1899), “Gardiner’s Bay, From Fresh Pond, Long Island”-1881, etching in brown ink on cream wove paper, signed and dated within plate matrix lower left corner. Horizontally-aligned landscape print depicting a view of the Hamptons with view of sailboats on water under cloudy sky at left, dirt path running over serpentine stream with rustic wooden footbridge leading to rolling hills lined with leaved trees. Framed approximately 17.5" x 20.5". Sight size approximately 8.6" x 12". Provenance: From the Private Collection of Benno & Babette Rothschild, Columbus, Georgia. Reference: Klackner 34.
