Description
1st item: Chinese carved gaming box, figural handle with carved floral paneled top, carved landscape and figural paneled sides and sliding front panel. The interior fitted with shelves that most likely held drawers for item storage. 9 1/4" H x 9 1/2" W x 6 3/4" D. Late 19th century. 2nd item: Framed gilt lacquer screen depicting a landscape scene with two figures walking over a bridge. Framed for hanging. 14 1/2" H x 14" W. Late 19th/Early 20th century. Condition
1st item: Some damage to corner of front panel. Overall general wear with some wood shrinkage. 2nd item: Abrasions and losses to frame. Residue to top center margin. Light craquelure to lacquer image.
