Description
George IV Sterling silver cruet frame and 8 cut glass bottles, the Classical Revival silver frame raised on four feet and marked for London, Sterling, Rebecca Emes and Edward Barnard, 1823-24. The two bottles with silver mounts bear worn hallmarks for different English makers. Measures 9 1/2" H x 8 1/2" W x 5 1/2"D. 17.4 oz troy. Condition
Frame is in excellent condition. Half of the bottles exhibit some small rim chips at outermost edges. One has stopper broken off inside the neck. One bottle with silver top has a 1" chip to lower side. Silver lid on shortest bottle does not sit tightly.
