The teapot has a compressed bulbous body onto four shell and scrollwork decorated feet. The body and the underside of the spout show a rare floral and leaf decoration in relief. The upper end of the spout and the thumb rest of the C scroll handle are embellished with stylized acanthus leafs. The teapot rim and the domed hinged lid feature garlands of flowers and leafs, while the knob is designed in form of a flower with leafs underneath.
Condition:
The teapot is in a very good condition, showing only minor signs of use. The height, including the handle, is 16 cm, while the weight is circa 778 g. (cko)
