Barry Coffin (American (Native American--Potawatomi and Creek descent), b. 1947- ), “Buffalo Man”-1988, ceramic sculpture, incised "B Coffin" and dated "88". Native American figural sculpture depicting a man with tapered body wearing textured brown cloak over head with buffalo horns, man with red and green eyes, purple top and large veined hand at side within cape, underside pierced with winged bird motif. Overall approximate height 16.75", width 7.5", depth 7.5". Provenance: From the Private Collection of Benno & Babette Rothschild, Columbus, Georgia.
