Description

A well constructed Gage 1 spirit-fired steam model of the Japanese JNR - class C11 2-6-4 (1.C.2) tank locomotive No. C11227 built by Aster for Fulgurex, with internally fired boiler, three-wick spirit burner, safety valves, sight glass, regulator, blower and lubricator, twin double-acting cylinders and motion, screw reverse activated from cab, spirit and water tanks and hand feed water pump, sprung driving wheels and hinged coupling rods. Details include dummy pumps, hand rails, pipework and brake gear. Finished in J.N.R. dark green and lake. Overall Dimensions: 17in. long, in wooden carrying case.
