Kyoto Lanterns are a series of sculptural lighting that capture the studied beauty and simplicity of the Japanese aesthetic while utilizing the perfect relationship of glass and light. Individually free blown and crafted by the artist. Variegated cream glass base with black striations and twig finial with orange buds. Lantern rests on four feet. The light source is a 25 watt/ 30 volt incandescent bulb with riveted clip in socket and line switch which is included. Etched date and signature on leg 2006. (Approx. 10"x 9 1/2"x 3").
