Bronze Elephant Cart, circa 1800, India, on wheels, pointed tusks. Weight: 545 g. Size: 4.75" x 3.5" x 5.25" (12 x 9 x 13 cm). Provenance: Matthew Friedman Collection. Matthew Friedman is author of three books on the subject of antique Asian bronze, including 1) Nepalese Casted Decanters, Vessels and Bowls 2) Bangladesh Metal Casting: Five Techniques 3) Nepalese Cast Ceremonial Lamps.
