Pre-Columbian, Southern Peru, Nazca (Nasca), 400 to 700 CE. Size: This is a steep-walled pottery jar depicting a transformative figure surrounded by highly-abstract small figures and wearing a red animal-skin headdress. Like most Nazca ceramics, the artwork here is bold and has strong lines and colors. 4.5" W x 6.5" H (11.4 cm x 16.5 cm).
