Description
A lovely Greek terracotta theater mask, c. 3rd – 1st Century BC, a decoration for a pottery vessel, with extremely expressive features – the mouth open and eyes wide, hair styled outward and back with long straight beard. L: 4 1/8 in (10.5cm). Light deposits. Ex Wiltshire, UK private collection.
