A group of 5 ancient bronze fibulae. Lot includes a Villanovan type, Italic, c. 8th - 7th Century BC, with large catch and thick body, (L: 3 5/8 in, 9.2 cm); a Roman Kraftig profilierte type, c. 1st Century AD, with intact pin and coil, (L: 2 1/8 in, 5.4 cm); a Roman type, c. 1st - 2nd Century AD, the body with lovely green patination and incised design, (L: 2 3/8 in, 6.1 cm); and a pair of Roman crossbow fibulae, c. 3rd - 4th Century, one with amazing detail, (L: 3 1/8 in, 7.9 cm & 2 ½ in, 6.3 cm).
