A nice group of 7 Seljuk bronze objects. c. 12th - 13th Century, an includes a bronze pedestal, pair of large earrings with areas for inlay, a handle with head of a griffin with remains of iron from a blade or mirror, and 3 highly detailed and extremely well preserved bronze fittings. Largest 2 1/4 x 1 1/4 x 3/4 in (5.7 x 3.2 x 1.9 cm). Each is nicely patinated, the griffin handle with old collection number in white paint. Ex collection of a Manhattan, New York professor, acquired in the 1970's.
