CULTURAL REVOLUTION CHINESE ALARM CLOCK
A relic of mid-1960's China and likey related to the Cultural Revolution, a wind-up alarm clock featuring images of Chinese flags and massed students on parade waving Chairman Mao's "Little Red Book". When operating, the clock displays a student waving the "Red Book" every second at lower right. The sweep second hand is a jet airplane circling the scene of the parading students. On either side of the wood-encase clock are printed panels behind glass with Chinese flag and Tienanmen Square depicted above untranslated Chinese mottos or captions. The case is dinged in a few places, and the alarm function may not be operable, otherwise the clock itself is functional and overall very good.
