In part: "...It would afford me great pleasure to send you Davis' speeches if I could; but I have only one copy... I transmitted to you my three speeches published in pamphlet form and I now enclose to you a copy of my last rejoinder which closed the debate... We are all verity anxious to learn the closing acts of our Legislature...". Some dust soiling in margins, else very good.
