Howard Behrens (died 2014) was an artist best known for his technique with palette knife. Born in Chicago, he became a professional artist in 1980 and lived in the Washington, DC area for most of his life. He was one of the official artists for the 2002 Winter Olympics, and has successfully held over 150 solo shows throughout the world.
