When examined under blacklight, the varnish fluoresces overall. There is craquelure throughout except to the face. There are two strips of wood (2" wide) which have been added to the top and right sides, glued with six blocks en verso. The seams are at the top of the head and the right edge of the lace. This later work is barely noticeable from the front. This piece appears to be in overall very good condition and shows well
