Each plaque is finely painted to depict a scholar in garden with chrysanthemums, goose, scholar's rock, or plums. Accompanied with beautifully written calligraphy short poems describing the scene. Signed Wang Dafan and dated bingyin year(1926), Republican period. Porcelain plaque 37.8 x 24.7cm (14 7/8 x 9 3/4in.), with frame 48.6 x 36cm (19 1/4 x 14 1/4 in.)
