Latin America, Mexico, ca. 1890 CE. A beautiful antique tin nicho, the metal shadow box style frame is adorned with a lovely floral and scrolled leaf motif patterns achieved via the repousse technique, and the edges are lined with reverse hand painted glass panels, this pattern comprised of cornflower blue and scarlet red blooming flowers and Kelly green leaves, the glass placed over a copper-hued ribbon. A stunning example that would richly enhance and add beauty to any ex-voto or retablo! Size: 11-1/4" x 9" (28.6 x 22.9 cm).
