**First Time At Auction**

New World, Mexico, Spanish Colonial inspired, ca. early 20th century CE. A hand-carved, painted wooden nicho with a large open display area ideal for figures like santos and other religious artwork. The nicho features a stable, flat base and carved, stylized borders, including three finials at the top front. Currently painted a bright, cheerful orange-red, with newer glass. The interior has wallpaper with a motif of repeated leaves. Size: 7.25" L x 15.55" W x 23.3" H (18.4 cm x 39.5 cm x 59.2 cm)
